The site is nestled on the East side of a natural rock outcrop at the top of the hill with views to the north and South. The design of the house carves into the hillside at the lower ground level and acts as a plinth for the upper living levels, raising them out of the ground at the down hill side, and hugging the rock outcrop on the up hill side. The rear of the dwelling faces south and the interior spaces open out to the garden at various floor levels. The top floor incorporates an out door living space with views to the north, east and south.
